A high speed chase along a Michigan freeway ended in a crash that injured two people.
A recent motor vehicle accident in Hazel Park got its start inside a local Walgreens. A 34-year-old woman, along her 14-year-old daughter, was apparently stealing items and putting them in her purse. Store employees contacted authorities, who arrived to see the woman driving away from the parking lot. Sheriff's deputies began following the woman and a chase ensued.

Motorists have a duty to drive responsibly. Unfortunately, that duty may have been breached when 12 people were tragically killed one weekend in November in various motor vehicle accidents across the Detroit metropolitan area.
One accident occurred on Nov. 13 along M-10 when a car driving the wrong way collided with another vehicle. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to catch fire, forcing emergency responders to extricate the occupants of one of the vehicles. Five people died in the accident.
A night of fun turned to tragedy after a motor vehicle accident in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan left five people dead. The car accident took place around 4:15 a.m. According to My Fox Detroit, police have speculated that alcohol and speeding may have contributed to the crash. The incident remains under investigation by the Michigan State Police.
The accident took place on Sunday, Oct. 20 on the M-10, otherwise known as The Lodge Freeway. One of the two cars involved was driving against traffic on the freeway when it hit a sport utility vehicle carrying four people. Each car caught fire when they collided, tragically killing all of the occupants.
